Cesc Fabregas, the former midfielder for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona, has announced his retirement from football at the age of 36.
Throughout his career, Fabregas achieved great success, earning 110 caps for Spain and winning back-to-back European Championships and the World Cup.
He began his career at Barcelona’s La Masia before joining Arsenal and then returning to Barcelona.
During his time in Spain, he won LaLiga, the Copa del Rey, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Fabregas then moved to Chelsea, where he won the Premier League title twice, as well as the FA Cup and League Cup.
After a final season with Italian side Como, Fabregas has decided to hang up his boots and pursue a coaching role with Como.
