Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has praised the talent of young midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka ahead of the upcoming season.
Chukwuemeka, who joined Chelsea from Aston Villa last summer, has already made 14 Premier League appearances for the club.
Pochettino described him as a “very talented player” with “very good quality” who can play in various positions on the pitch.
The Blues’ boss also mentioned two other 19-year-olds, Mason Burstow and Gabriel Slonina, who were given starts in a pre-season friendly against Fulham.
Burstow joined Chelsea in February 2022, while Slonina joined from Chicago Fire last summer.
