Report: Everton Planning January Move for ‘Dribbling Master’

According to the Daily Mail, Everton are looking to sign Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana in January.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian international has risen to fame after a great season for FC Nordsjaelland in which he scored 10 goals and developed at the Right To Dream Academy.

After an impressive performance against Paris Saint Germain early last season, his strong form earned him a £17.7m move to Rennes where he has since hit a roadblock due to injury.

His lack of minutes playing time this season has led Everton to believe they can take advantage of the situation and bring him in on loan during next month’s transfer window.

It is believed that the ‘extraordinary’ winger could add much needed service to the club and provide Dominic Calvert-Lewin with more chances.

It was previously thought Newcastle United were interested but recent reports suggest Everton are now in pole position.

Kamaldeen is famed for his dribbling ability as he had more successful dribbles per 90 minutes than any other player who featured in over 10 games last season in France, according to FBRef.

Dribbling through defences from wide areas could be just what Everton needs if they hope to create chances this term and get ahead of relegation.
