Recent speculation suggests that a verbal agreement for Paez has been established, costing Chelsea an estimated £15 million.
Ziyech meanwhile had his red card overturned after being harshly handed his marching orders following a second-half incident against Tottenham.
VAR review showed that Ziyech put his hand in Emerson Royal’s face which at first wasn’t seen by referee Stuart Attwell.
