Barcelona have reportedly given Ansu Fati the green light to leave the club in order to facilitate Lionel Messi’s return.
The club is working hard to construct a deal that complies with La Liga’s financial regulations, and Fati’s departure is seen as one of several necessary moves.
Despite being touted as the future of the club and inheriting Messi’s iconic number 10 shirt at just 18 years old, Fati’s progress has been hampered by injuries and he has only been an occasional player in Xavi’s team this season.
While a deal to move him on is not yet close, Wolves and West Ham have both expressed interest in the young Spanish international.
However, Fati is reportedly only interested in joining a bigger club that is challenging towards the top end of the table, and Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea have all been linked with him in the past.
