Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole, has expressed his concern over the recent form of Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen.
Despite Osimhen’s recent goal against Barcelona in the Champions League, Cole believes that the Nigerian international has fallen a bit in form compared to last season.
Speaking with TNT Sports, Cole listed several strikers who he believes will be the next big thing in the world of football, following in the footsteps of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
While Osimhen was highly regarded last year, Cole suggests that he has not been able to maintain that level of performance.
Cole also highlighted the potential of other emerging talents in the striker position. He mentioned Rasmus Hojlund as one player who has a chance to make a name for himself.
Additionally, Cole praised the technical abilities and finishing skills of Dusan Vlahovic. He also mentioned Darwin Nunez, who he believes has a strong all-round game but needs to improve certain aspects.
