Nigerian international, Odion Ighalo, and his teammates have been rewarded handsomely for making it to the FIFA Club World Cup final with a $266,500 bonus from Saudi’s Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

This translates to 122,715,255 of Nigerian currency for Ighalo who assisted Saudi Arabia in defeating Flamengo in the semi-finals of the competition.

This comes in addition to another 500,000 Riyals from the Saudi Sports Minister Abdulaziz al Faisa who stated that this win was a “tangible confirmation” of their great achievements.

The Saudi club is now scheduled to play Real Madrid at Morocco’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium for the tournament’s title game and if they win, each player will receive a special $1 million gift from Prince Alwaleed.
