Grammy-nominated artist Davido has expressed that his biggest wish is for people to genuinely ask how he is doing – www.naijnaira.com reports.
During a recent interview with Billboard, the Afrobeats star made it clear that emotional support holds far greater value to him than any financial offering.
He admitted that fame often blinds people to the fact that celebrities also need care and compassion in their personal lives.
The singer pointed out that a simple “How are you?” can ease pressure and open the door to meaningful conversations.
“Just the little things. People just asking you how are you and then having 5 to 10 minutes talks could do a lot,” Davido explained.
He noted that he doesn’t want material gifts or money because, in his words, “I’m up, you know.”
Instead, he believes genuine check-ins are the true measure of human connection and kindness.
For Davido, fame and success have not replaced the need for authentic moments of care.
