Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has released his fifth studio album titled 5ive.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, this highly anticipated album follows the release of three singles: “Be There Still,” “Funds” featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, and “Awuke” featuring YG Marley. These tracks helped build excitement ahead of the album’s full debut.
5ive is a 17-track project that includes collaborations with a variety of international artists such as Chris Brown, Omah Lay, Victony, Becky G, and Shensea.
One of the standout tracks, “Funds,” showcases Davido’s signature energetic style, with Odumodublvck adding a gritty touch and Chike contributing smooth melodies.
The album also includes “Titanium,” which features Chris Brown and explores a narrative about a lover attempting to emotionally break the singer. In contrast, “Offa Me,” featuring Victoria Monet, takes a more sensual approach, while “Nuttin Dey” is an anthem of confidence and resilience.
5ive follows Davido’s previous album Timeless, which made waves by securing the top spot on the Billboard World Albums Chart.
