Eldee The Don, a veteran Nigerian hip-hop artist, recently revealed the reasons behind his decision to quit music and move abroad.
He explained that he made this choice after being scammed by an advisory firm that collected money from investors under the pretense of investing it in his music.
Eldee had partnered with the firm, unaware that they were using the investors’ funds for their own benefit instead of supporting his record label.
As a result, he ended up incurring significant debts and realized he had been deceived after almost a year.
This experience led him to leave the country and seek a fresh start abroad.
Unfortunately, his team members who had left their families to join the project in Nigeria also ended up with nothing.
