Manchester United will go into Sunday’s Premier League clash with Fulham on a high after their 4-2 win over Aston Villa on Thursday.
And the Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag could make as many as six changes for the showdown at Craven Cottage as they seek all three points in west London.
Goalkeeper: De Gea
Martin Dubravka made his debut for United against Villa on Thursday night following his summer move from Newcastle.
But the 33-year-old is expected to drop to the bench for the trip to Fulham, having conceded twice on his first outing for the club.
David De Gea had a shaky start to the season, making errors as the Red Devils slipped to early defeats against the likes of Brighton and Brentford.
However, since then, the 31-year-old has regained his mojo and proved to be an undroppable presence between the sticks.
De Gea is expected to come in for Dubravka, with United primed to go strong for their final game ahead of the World Cup in Qatar commencing in just over a week.
Defence: Malacia, Lindelof, Martinez, Shaw
Diogo Dalot will miss United’s match with Fulham through suspension.
And while Tyrell Malacia is a left-back by trade, it’s feasible he’ll move to right-back after starting against Villa on the opposite side on Thursday night.
That would enable Luke Shaw to come in for Dalot.
And that’s not the only defensive change United are expected to make as they look to put Fulham to the sword.
Harry Maguire is set to be benched, with Lisandro Martinez then partnering Victor Lindelof at centre-back.
Midfield: Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes
United went with a pairing of Fred and Scott McTominay for the victory over Villa on Thursday.
However, while McTominay scored, neither player is expected to keep their place in Ten Hag’s starting XI.
Instead, Casemiro is likely to come back in – with the United star going from strength to strength following his summer move from Real Madrid.
And Christian Eriksen appears primed to partner the Brazil international in the middle of the park, having instantly won Ten Hag’s trust at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes should then start in the No 10 position, despite being used as a winger for Thursday night’s stirring win.
Forwards: Rashford, Martial, Garnacho
Both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial started and scored as United got the better of Unai Emery’s side earlier in the week.
Therefore, the pair are expected to keep their spots in the team as the Red Devils gear up for their match with Fulham.
Rashford may have to go on the right, however, with Alejandro Garnacho coming in on the left wing.
The Argentine is the talk of Old Trafford these days and looks unplayable at present, with the 18-year-old winning Ten Hag round after a problematic start to the campaign.
Martial should keep his place up top, even if Cristiano Ronaldo recovers from illness in time for the game at Craven Cottage.
