Manchester United set to sign Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta

Manchester United is on the verge of signing Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta, as the Serie A club is prepared to accept United’s bid.

The offer is expected to meet Atalanta’s valuation for the player.

Atalanta has already secured a replacement for Hojlund in El Bilal Toure from Almeria, with a record transfer fee of €28m plus €3m in add-ons.

This development is likely to speed up Hojlund’s potential move to Old Trafford.

United is set to present a proposal of around €70 million plus bonuses, which Atalanta considers fair and is willing to accept.

The rumors of an €85 million request are unfounded.

Atalanta is eager to finalize the deal quickly, as they are aware that Hojlund has already agreed to personal terms with United.

Hojlund is expected to earn between €4 million and €4.5 million plus bonuses on a multi-year contract.

Atalanta is resigned to losing Hojlund just one year after acquiring him from Sturm Graz.
