Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has received approval for a swap deal involving goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Inter, the current team of Onana, is resigned to losing him to Manchester United and has already lined up transfers for Yann Sommer from Bayern Munich and Anatolij Trubin.

Ten Hag is looking to revamp the goalkeeping department at United and is keen to sign two new goalkeepers this summer.

With Dean Henderson likely to join Nottingham Forest and David de Gea’s contract expired, there is an urgency to conclude a deal.

Inter is also eager to solve the situation before their training resumes on July 13th.

United is also in search of another goalkeeper due to the departure of De Gea and the expected exit of Henderson.

Inter’s interest in signing Sommer and Trubin has been confirmed, with a clause in Sommer’s contract allowing him to leave for the same fee that Bayern signed him for.

Onana, who previously played for Ajax alongside Ten Hag, joined Inter last summer and has been a standout performer for the team.

United has already signed Mason Mount from Chelsea and is now focused on strengthening their goalkeeping and central striking positions.
