Publisher Jaafar Jaafar has recently released the identities of what he calls, ‘cabals’ working against presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.
In opposition to claims that Mamman Daura is one of them, Mr. Jaafar asserts that he is not part of this group.
According to Jaafar, his enemies are comprised of President Buhari, Sani Zangon Daura, and Sabiu Tunde.
He also states that whilst Zangon Daura had been a member of the APC for some years prior to 2015 Bahari’s election victory, he remarkably reversed positions and expressed support for Atiku Abubakar shortly after.
Furthermore, it appears that Jaafar identifies Tunde as the puppet master who successfully advocated in favor of CBN’s Governor Emefiele when the claims of terrorism financing threatened to put him behind bars.
Evidently being instrumental in saving Emefiele at his lowest moment over time sowed animosity towards Tinubu which appears to have grown since then with BAT now having allegedly moved logistics around various states to strengthen its campaign.
