Legendary Fuji musician Adewale Ayuba has released a seven-track album titled ‘Fujify Your Soul’.
The 56-year-old dropped the album on Sunday containing tunes such as ‘Fujify Your Soul’, ‘Calling’, ‘Koloba Koloba’, ‘Sibi Mi’, ‘Jekarira’, ‘Asiwaju Ikenne Remo Adeleke Adeshina’ and ‘Sookun Family.
During an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) last week, Mr Johnson – as he was fondly known – noted that the main focus of this album is love and to embrace culture with Fuji music at its heart.
He further advised Christians and Muslims to live up to their religion’s standards.
As a way to show his commitment to seeing Nigeria become a free nation from darkness and misuse of power come 2023 election season, his message in promoting the album was:
“In this 2023 election, the light of God will take darkness away forever in our nation Nigeria.”
“Nigerians should cherish their indigenous music such as Fuji and be proud wherever they are.”
