Davido, the Nigerian singer, recently revealed in an interview with US-based radio station HOT 97 FM that he recorded a whopping 62 songs for his latest album, ‘Timeless’.
Despite the large number of tracks, only 17 made it onto the final album.
Davido described ‘Timeless’ as his miracle album, explaining that it came together naturally without much planning.
He also noted that the arrangement of the songs on the album was special and carefully thought out.
In contrast to his previous album, which he spent millions on, Davido revealed that he spent less than $300k on ‘Timeless’ and has already made more money in just three days.
‘Timeless’ is Davido’s fourth studio album, following ‘OBO’ (2012), ‘A Good Time’ (2019), and ‘A Better Time’ (2020).
In addition to his music career, Davido also recently signed two new artists to his record label, DMW.
