After Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was declared the winner in the Lagos state governorship election, Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, who was the running mate of PDP’s candidate, has seemingly cut ties with the political party.
PM News claims that all photos and posts related to her campaign and other political engagements during the election have been deleted from the actress’s Instagram page.
Though the reason for this action remains unknown, there are rumors of a rift between Funke and the PDP candidate.
According to an anonymous source close to Akindele, she felt played by Jandor as he didn’t treat her as an equal during their time together on the ticket.
Allegedly, his selection of her was purely based on popularity and nothing else.
