Don Etiebet, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Akwa Ibom State and former Minister of Petroleum, along with other leaders from Abak-5 constituency have made the decision to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Emmanuel Enoidem, in the February 25 National Assembly election.
This is because, since 1963, no one from Abak-5 has held this seat. At an inter-party meeting held at Don Etiebet’s residence in Ewet Housing Estate, it was also decided that concerned citizens will support their respective party’s presidential candidates.
Furthermore, Joe Iniudo from Senator Godswill Akpabio’s Campaign Organisation has dismissed this endorsement as being “illusionary” with potential members not being able to confirm attendance.
