Jorginho has revealed that the manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, was a big factor in convincing him to sign for the Gunners from Chelsea.
On Tuesday night, Jorginho sealed a transfer-deadline switch from Chelsea and signed an 18-month contract with Arsenal which includes a one-year extension option.
During his first press conference at Arsenal, Jorginho noted Mikel Arteta’s previous attempts to try and acquire him as he said: “He had a big influence.”
He is now set to make his debut for Arsenal this weekend against Everton in the Premier League.
