However, Harry Maguire has decided to remain at Manchester United and continue competing for a place in the team’s starting line-up.

Recently there have been suggestions that club legend Rio Ferdinand wants Maguire to take this transfer opportunity due to feeling the English international has been ‘disrespected’ by manager Erik ten Hag after being omitted from the starting team on two occasions.
However, despite this, Maguire is intent on pushing further and proving to Ten Hag why he deserves a spot in the side, stating “We have a lot of good centre halves at this club, there’s a lot of competition for places and I’ll keep fighting.”
