Innoson cancels scholarship for Mmesoma, leaving her future uncertain

Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme’s future has been thrown into uncertainty after Innoson Vehicles decided to cancel the scholarship they had awarded her.

This decision came after an inquiry committee in Anambra revealed that Mmesoma had falsified her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result.

The committee’s findings stated that Mmesoma herself admitted to manipulating her scores.

In response to these confirmed findings, Innoson made the difficult decision to withdraw the scholarship, as stated in a statement issued by Cornel Osigwe, the head of corporate communications at Innoson.
