The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examinations (JAMB) has announced the top performers in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
The Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, revealed the results at the 2023 policy meeting in Abuja.
Umeh Nkechinyere from Anambra State emerged as the top performer with a cumulative mark of 360.
Other top candidates include Aguele Stephen, Ositade Oluwafemi, Gbolahan Ayinde, John Fulfilment, and Chimdubem Ugonna.
The meeting will also discuss admission guidelines, application statistics, candidates’ performance, and evaluate the 2023 admission exercise.
Additionally, a policy decision on the minimum admissible score for all tertiary institutions in Nigeria will be made during the meeting.
