The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the continuation of the 2023 Direct Entry registration nationwide.
The Registrar, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, released this news during a press briefing on Monday in Abuja.
He declared April 28th as the deadline for completing the process.
Oloyede addressed reports of forged A Level certificates that have been used to apply over the years.
To ensure a fair registration process, new guidelines have been put into place.
These include only accepting 13 specific qualifications or certificates like first degree, university diploma, Higher National Diploma and more.
The JAMB Registrar also provided insight into additional measures taken including the launch of the ‘Nigeria Post-secondary Education Data System’ and no examination to be allowed after one hour of its scheduled start time.
With this information, candidates can prepare accordingly while understanding they need to complete their application before April 28th.
