The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released a statement denying reports of recruitment and warning the public to be cautious of fraudulent activities.
JAMB’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, stated that the organization is not currently recruiting in any of its offices and has not contracted any individual or organization to do so on its behalf.
The statement also mentioned an employment syndicate operating in Akure, Ondo State, which falsely claimed to be recruiting staff for JAMB.
The Board advised the public to disregard such information and warned that legal action will be taken against anyone found guilty of such fraudulent acts.
JAMB emphasized that all notifications regarding recruitment are made only through its approved channels.
