Despite the announcement of a curfew by Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje following the declaration of Abba Yusuf as the winner of Saturday’s governorship election, hundreds of residents still trooped out to celebrate the victory.
Internal affairs commissioner Muhammad Garba had issued a statement urging people in Kano to stay indoors due to security concerns.
