Senator Ademola Adeleke Sworn In As Governor of Osun State

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

The All Progressives Congress in Osun State has accused Senator Ademola Adeleke and his political party, the People’s Democratic Party of sponsoring protests against the ruling of the State Election Petition Tribunal that unseated him as Governor on Friday.

The APC claims that these protests could further damage Adeleke’s and PDP’s case in the Appeal Court.

The PDP state acting chairman however, Dr Akindele Adekunle, stated that the demonstrations were proof that Osun people reject this ruling.

He added that spontaneous support for Senator Adelemoke showed a revolt against attempts to rob him of a popular mandate.

According to APC, sponsoring protests or attempting to discredit the judiciary is not an effective way to appeal the verdict.

They insist that as long as there is evidence of over-voting during elections, then Friday’s ruling holds ground and cannot be overturned by demonstrations.
