Kanye West Files Trademark for Yeezy Sock Shoes

Kanye West, the American rapper, has filed a trademark application for Yeezy Sock Shoes, according to a report by Daily Mail.

This move comes after Adidas announced that it would sell the remaining Yeezy shoes and donate the proceeds to charity, following its decision to cut ties with West last year due to his anti-Semitic remarks.

West’s company, Mascotte Holdings Inc., submitted the trademark application on May 4, listing the product as ‘YZY SOCK SHOES.’

Although Adidas plans to sell its remaining stock of Yeezy shoes without West’s branding, it is unclear whether West will sell the sock shoes after obtaining the trademark.

Despite these developments, West is still pursuing his 2024 presidential campaign, and his organization is still named Kanye 2020 after the last election.
