Liverpool’s pursuit of Moises Caicedo has received a boost as the 21-year-old Ecuadorian wonderkid is being targeted by Jurgen Klopp as part of the club’s summer rebuild.
Caicedo, who failed to secure a £70million move to Arsenal in the January transfer window, is confident that he will have “many more opportunities” to leave Brighton.
Meanwhile, Klopp is keen to reshape his ageing midfield and has hinted at changes to the starting XI for Saturday’s game against Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool, along with Manchester United, have been linked with a move for Chelsea’s Mason Mount, who is yet to agree on a new contract with the Blues.
Arsenal have also joined the race for the creative midfielder.
