Afrobeats singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, better known as Iyanya, has revealed he will release a new album in September followed by a U.S. tour – www.naijnaira.com reports.
According to Leadership News, the project titled IYANYA: The Forester’s Son Tour will begin in October and continue through November.
The singer will perform in cities such as Brooklyn, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Denver, Minneapolis, and North Carolina.
His upcoming album is set to arrive on September 12, just weeks before the tour kicks off.
Iyanya described the events as a “comeback concert” after years away from American stages.
On Instagram, he posted: “Album arrives Sept 12, hit the road Oct and Nov. United States, here we come.”
The award-winning artist last performed in the U.S. back in 2019, making this his first return in six years.
His recently released single Blue Waters has already built excitement around his music ahead of the tour.
Fans and industry insiders expect the shows to be one of his biggest international outings to date.
