Lagos State Declares Monday a Public Holiday for Isese Day

The Lagos State Government has announced that Monday will be a public holiday in celebration of Isese Day, also known as Tradition Day, which falls on August 20th.

The declaration was made by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, who stated that the holiday is a way to support and promote indigenous culture and tradition in the state.

Public servants will have the day off, and work will resume on Tuesday, August 22nd.

The government has urged all ministries, departments, and agencies to spread the word about the holiday.
