Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has confirmed that the club is in need of a new striker this summer, following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
With Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, along with loanee Wout Weghorst, as the current options at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have been linked with Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
Ten Hag acknowledged the shortage of No. 9s at United, stating that “we definitely need players in the frontline who strengthen the squad.”
While Kane’s contract expires at the end of next season, United are reportedly willing to offer him a contract worth £300,000-a-week.
