Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood is reportedly set to marry his pregnant partner, weeks after being cleared of assault charges.
He was arrested last year and faces charges of s3xual assault and coercive behaviour, which were later dropped by the Crown Prosecution Services in February.
Now, reports claim that the England international has relayed wedding plans to family members, with him and his partner reportedly spotted at the Langham Hotel in central London.
Furthermore, Greenwood is also set to become a parent for the first time this summer.
Although the identity of his child’s mother and future wife remains a mystery, it seems that the Man United star’s family is aware of the development – with the couple said to be “looking forward” to the baby’s arrival.
Despite this news, however, Greenwood remains suspended by Manchester United while they investigate him further.
It is understood that head coach Erik ten Hag spoke with him in a private conversation, explaining that whether or not he will be welcomed back into the team is up to the club itself – and ultimately out of his hands.
