Mauricio Pochettino has been announced as the new manager of Chelsea and has already made his first additions to the team.
He will officially take charge on July 1st and has signed a two-year deal with the option for a further 12 months.
Four members of his backroom staff have also been signed up, including Jesus Perez as assistant coach, who has worked with Pochettino for over a decade.
Argentine coach Miguel d’Agostino, who played with Pochettino at Newell’s Old Boys, is also joining the team, as well as longtime ally and former teammate Toni Jimenez as goalkeeping coach.
Sebastiano Pochettino, the manager’s son, has also been confirmed as part of the staff.
He previously worked with his father at Tottenham and was a fitness coach during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
Fans can expect a strong and experienced team under Pochettino’s leadership.
