Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, is determined to keep Victor Osimhen on the team and has come up with an enticing plan to do so.
Despite interest from Premier League powerhouses like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle, as well as European heavyweights Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, De Laurentiis is prepared to offer Osimhen a staggering €7 million salary, making him the highest-paid player in Napoli’s history.
To balance this financial commitment, the club plans to make strategic cuts to other players’ wages.
Additionally, Napoli has proposed a “reduced” release clause set at half of Osimhen’s current market value, which would become valid for the 2024/25 season.
