The Nigerian Air Force has officially declared the opening of its Direct Short Service Commission Course 34/2025 recruitment for qualified Nigerians – www.naijnaira.com reports.

Report says that applications begin on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, and end on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, through the portal at www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.

Officials emphasized that the entire process is free, warning applicants not to fall for fraudulent payment requests.

The scheme allows graduates and postgraduates to serve as commissioned officers in specialized fields within the Air Force.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens between 20 and 32 years old, while medical consultants can apply up to the age of 40.

Male applicants must have a minimum height of 1.66 meters, and females must meet a minimum height of 1.63 meters.

Candidates already serving in the military must complete at least five years of service and hold a rank not lower than corporal.

For academic qualifications, a minimum of Second Class Upper Division is required for degree holders, while HND applicants need Upper Credit.

Medical professionals must show valid registration with recognized professional bodies, and all candidates must provide an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

“Any falsified or incomplete documents will lead to instant disqualification,” warned Air Vice Marshal AH Bakari, the Chief of Air Staff.

Zonal aptitude tests will follow later, with shortlisted candidates notified through the official recruitment portal.

The DSSC 34/2025 program covers diverse sectors such as medicine, engineering, and administration, offering skilled Nigerians the chance to strengthen national security.
