Mutiu Adepoju, a former Nigerian International footballer, has tipped Victor Osimhen to be named the next African Footballer of the Year due to his impressive performance.
With 17 goals in 18 matches for Napoli in Serie A, Osimhen currently leads the scoring charts with 15 goals.
Adepoju voiced his confidence in Osimhen’s abilities, saying:
“Nobody is at the level he is now, and I believe he still has time ahead to do more. If it was time to pick the African best player right now, he will win it easily.”
