Paga is a payment platform that has 2 channels (a) Agent Networks and (b) Online and Mobile. Paga provides services that allow you to send and receive money, and make and receive payments; you can also buy and send airtime wherever you are.

Paga’s agent network serves as the primary interface for cash-in and cash-out on Paga. As a Paga agent, you will receive a commission for every transaction you perform, plus other bonuses and incentives.

With Paga Merchant services, your business can integrate with Paga to offer customers a secure and easy payment option either through your online platform or in-store.

What is Paga Pocket?

This is a feature that allows you to add pockets to your wallet. These pockets can be used to store money for future goals.

You can withdraw money from your pocket to any of your linked bank accounts.  Also, you can withdraw money from your pocket via an agent outlet or to your Paga wallet using *242#.

You can only deposit and withdraw money from your pocket. To buy airtime, withdraw money from your Pocket to your Paga wallet (for free), and then buy airtime with your Paga wallet.

Paga will assign a 10-digit account number (NUBAN) to every Pocket you create. You can see your Pocket account number using the USSD by dialling *242*2# on your registered phone number and select deposit to Pocket (option 2 – Deposit).

The Pocket KYC will always match the KYC level of the customer’s account (i.e. the Paga wallet). So if you are on  KYC 2 and you create a Pocket at an agent, that Pocket will have KYC 2 level limits on it.

Your daily transaction limits are dependent on your Paga Wallet KYC level. Your limit is set separately from your Paga wallet limit.

Withdrawals to your linked Bank accounts and to your Paga wallet are free. However,  you will be charged a fee of N107 when you withdraw via an agent outlet.

The features include but are not limited to the following:

  1. A separate, non-transactional wallet, linked to your main Paga account. It gives you a safe place to store money, separate from your normal Paga wallet.
