A former speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Chiji Collins, is mourning the loss of his orderly, Charles, who was found dead in mysterious circumstances in the bush in Oguta Local Government Area of the state.
Charles, an inspector of police, was kidnapped a few weeks ago along with a driver in the Ohaji/Egbema area of the state.
The driver was later found dead, while the search for Charles continued.
Sadly, his decomposed body was discovered in a bush on Thursday.
The police have launched an investigation and are determined to apprehend the killers and bring them to justice.
The command has expressed its condolences to Charles’ colleagues and family.
