PDP Suspends Fayose, Anyim, Two Others for Alleged Anti-Party Activities

On Thursday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) suspended four prominent members, including former governor of Ekiti State Ayodele Fayose and former president of the Senate Pius Anyim.

The decision was made after a thorough review of the party’s affairs, in accordance with the PDP Constitution (amended in 2017). The suspension is effective immediately.

Additionally, the PDP has referred Governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom to the National Disciplinary Committee for his alleged involvement in anti-party activities.

The PDP has called on all party members to remain united and focused during this critical time. This information was shared in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.
