PDP Chieftains tell Wike to stop pulling the umbrella and make the difference

There is mounting pressure on Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike to declare which of the candidates running in the February presidential election he supports.

This challenge was made by Dr Dakuku Peterside, a former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and All Progressives Congress’s chieftain.

Condemning the violent attacks made against his party during a campaign rally at Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Dr Peterside alleged that Wike had neither the courage nor vision to back his preferred candidate.

He called on the people of Opobo and Nkoro to be guided by competence and character instead of voting for their clanmate who would not be able to fulfill his duties.

The former 2015 governorship candidate for APC in Rivers urged them to vote for Tonye Cole as Governorship candidate due to his intelligence, capability, grace, and readiness.
