In Liverpool’s recent victory over Bournemouth at Anfield, Mohamed Salah made history by surpassing Steven Gerrard’s goal-scoring record.

Salah’s first-half goal in the match brought his total goals for Liverpool to 187, moving him into fifth place on the club’s all-time leading goal-scorers list.

This achievement puts him ahead of Gerrard, who scored 186 goals during his iconic career at Anfield. Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 and has reached this milestone in just 307 appearances.

His next target on the list is Billy Liddell, who scored 228 goals for the club.

Despite an early setback and a controversial red card, Liverpool managed to secure a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth, earning their first win of the season.
