Nigerian defender Ola Aina’s future with Serie A team Torino is uncertain as his contract is set to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season.
According to Italian media Calciomercato, Aina has not shown any intention of signing a new deal with the club and could potentially return to England.
The right-back has struggled with form due to injuries, resulting in reduced playing time at the Stadio Olimpico Grande.
Aina has made 18 appearances and scored one goal in all competitions this season.
Calciomercato quotes, “These last four league games will be Ola Aina’s last games as a Torino player.”
The Nigeria international arrived at Torino on a season-long loan deal in 2018 before the transfer was made permanent the following season.
Aina has scored two goals with six assists across 110 appearances in all competitions for the Bull and is expected to leave this summer.
