School bus and truck collision leaves six children trapped

A collision between a school bus carrying over 20 children and a truck occurred on the outskirts of Melbourne, leaving several individuals trapped.

The incident took place on the suburban border between Exford and Eynesbury, with emergency services responding to the scene at around 3:43 pm (AEST).

The Country Fire Authority reported that approximately six children were trapped in the bus.

Ambulance Victoria also confirmed that they were called to the accident and are currently assessing multiple individuals.

Crews from various emergency services, including CFA, Fire Rescue Victoria, Victoria Police, and Ambulance Victoria, are on the scene.
