Tammy Abraham to Man Utd

With Manchester United still searching for a new attacker in the transfer market, former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham could just be to the rescue.

Since leaving Stamford Bridge last August, Roma’s British forward has scored 27 goals and registered five assists in 53 appearances for his new side.

His electric form has sparked suggestions of a Premier League return in the near future.

And with United still searching for a new attacker, Ally McCoist feels they should look no further than the ex-Chelsea ace.

“It makes sense for Manchester United. The question and dilemma he will have to answer is whether he would want to move back to Chelsea or go to Manchester United,” McCoist told talkSPORT.

“I think he has been a bit unlucky at Chelsea. He has gone to another country and done exceptionally well, I am just so chuffed for him.

Mourinho is so keeping the new groom, Abraham?

“He is a player I would like to see around the England squad again. I think he is a top-class player, and he scores goals for fun.”

He added: “Both Chelsea and Manchester United need centre forwards, Abraham scored 17 or 18 goals for Roma last year, I am not sure why he is not in the conversation for Manchester United or Chelsea.”

But will Jose Mourinho let the 24-year-old leave AS Roma at this time?
