Tottenham surged to a 4-1 victory over West Ham on Saturday, netting three goals in just eight frantic minutes during the second half.

The match began with West Ham‘s Mohammed Kudus netting the opener in the 18th minute, finishing off a Jarrod Bowen cross.

Despite Kudus’ early success, Tottenham soon equalized through Dejan Kulusevski, whose shot squeezed in after striking both posts in the 36th minute.

The second half saw Spurs elevate their performance after substituting James Maddison for Pape Matar Sarr.

Just seven minutes in, Yves Bissouma capitalized on a cutback from Destiny Udogie to give Spurs the lead.

Son Heung-min had a shot saved by Alphonse Areola, only for the rebound to deflect off Jean-Clair Todibo and into the net.

Son then added another goal five minutes later, taking advantage of a defensive error from West Ham.

However, the drama escalated when Kudus was sent off for violent conduct after pushing Sarr and Micky van de Ven, following a VAR review.

This emphatic win was a much-needed response for Spurs, particularly after their disappointing 3-2 loss to Brighton prior to the international break, which manager Ange Postecoglou labeled his worst defeat since taking charge.
