UniAbuja Announces Mandatory Company Registration for Graduating Students

The University of Abuja has recently announced a new requirement for graduating students to register a company before they can receive their degree.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdul Rasheed Na’Allah, stated that this initiative is aimed at empowering students to become entrepreneurs and create their own employment opportunities, rather than relying on the government for jobs.

The university has partnered with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce to improve the curriculum and provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to register their own companies.

Over 1000 students have already registered their companies with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), and some of them are even practicing their businesses while still in school.

The institution is committed to fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and ensuring that its graduates are equipped to contribute to the economy and become employers of labor.
