Unknown gunmen have killed the APC chairman, Hon. James Adah in Oganienugu community, Dekina LGA, Kogi State.
Other villagers were also killed.
The information available indicates that the hoodlums entered the village in the middle of the night on Sunday, April 2, 2023, and started shooting sporadically, razed down several houses, and subsequently killed the ward Chairman of the All Progressive Congress and others in the village.
Meanwhile, the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has called for calm over the attack and has promised to bring those behind the heinous act to book. Security operatives have been deployed to the community to restore normalcy.
