Ghana will take on Nigeria in the opening game of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on July 10, 2025, NaijNaira can report.
According to Ghana FA’s official website, the Black Satellites will complete their group matches with a game against Benin on July 16, 2025. Group A consists of just three teams, so each side will play only two matches.
Group B will see Cote d’Ivoire face Burkina Faso in their opening fixture. Niger will meet Togo on the second day of the competition.
The final of the tournament is scheduled for July 23, 2025, at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the match, a tournament official said, “Ghana versus Nigeria always brings excitement and great football.”
