A couple from Aiken, South Carolina, Aaron and Natali Johnston, have made a name for themselves in the world of beards competitions.
While Aaron has won second place in the Goatee category at the 2023 World Championships in Burghausen, Germany, his wife Natali has won first place in the ‘realistic freestyle category’ for non-real beards and best in the show.
The couple travels the world participating in separate categories but competing in the same contests.
Since 2015, they have competed in over 170 contests together, spending most weekends travelling to another city to participate.
Aaron’s success in the global championships in 2017 even led him to work for the beard grooming company Honest Amish.
