Emmanuel Ogidi, former vice national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-South region, has expressed his disappointment with the appointment of former Governor Nyesom Wike’s allies as minority leaders in the National Assembly (NASS).

Ogidi emphasized the importance of the minority leader position, as it represents not only the PDP but also other parties.
He urged the minority leaders to uphold the interests of the party and the Nigerian people, as they are being closely watched.
Ogidi also criticized the executive branch for consistently weakening the power of political parties.
